Champions League route to 2025 final: Who Arsenal and Aston Villa could meet on way to Allianz Arena

Aston Villa will face Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League quarter-finals - and could be pitted against Arsenal in an all-English semi-final.

Arsenal will face Real Madrid in the last eight after the Gunners eliminated PSV and Real knocked out Madrid rivals Atletico in a controversial penalty shoot-out.

The first leg of the Villa-PSG tie will take place in Paris on Wednesday April 9 with the return leg at Villa Park on Tuesday April 15.

Arsenal will be at home for their quarter-final first leg against Real on Tuesday April 8 before playing the second leg in Madrid on Wednesday April 16.

Arsenal and Villa will then meet in the last four if both sides progress to that stage.

Away from the English sides, there are some other mouth-watering last-eight showdowns in store with Harry Kane's Bayern Munich set to face Serie A leaders Inter Milan.

Dortmund will take on Barcelona after knocking out Lille.
